I use mulch only once in a while, the type called fine bark, and I try to put it far from plants' trunks and stems. I've never heard about sour mulch. It's a good lesson!<br />Last summer, I was shocked to see my plants suddenly wilted and half-dead, for a different reason. That is why your story touched me so much!
