Snow falls on Cedars (and other trees)

Here on Long Island, we have received a lot of snow recently. Our last storm was particularly wet and so it really hung onto the branches like warm, white chocolate fudge over a mound of ice cream. Here are a few photos from that storm:




I still think the snow is so pretty to watch as it comes down from the sky and especially beautiful when it hugs the trees the next day. But, that being said, I wouldn't mind if spring came just a little early here...

  3. It is a beautiful snow Kate. I love to see the white fluffy snows that stick to everything. In pictures.LOL! You got a lot of it. Is that ivy on the tree it is hanging on to? So pretty.

  8. Great title . . . I am trying to remember the book now. Beautiful snow photos! I wonder if you will get the storm tomorrow too! I love watching the snow falling too. Only one month and a half till spring!

  10. Carolyn - It's all ice here too. All the trees are heavy with it. Ugh. Who cares what the groundhog sees, spring come soon!
